Job summary

CEC is seeking a Senior Scheduling Manager to lead planning and scheduling across complex electrical construction projects, including data center environments. You’ll develop schedules from bid through execution, ensure proper resource loading, and collaborate with Estimating, Preconstruction, and field leadership to improve labor forecasting and project performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent field experience considered.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction scheduling, planning, or project controls.
• Strong experience supporting electrical construction projects; data center or mission critical experience preferred.
• Proven experience working closely with Estimating, Preconstruction, and Field Operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and scheduling efforts across electrical construction projects, ensuring accurate scope and sequencing.
• Develop, maintain, and oversee project schedules; ensure resource-loading and budget labor leveling.
• Support Estimating/Preconstruction in bid phases and develop Work Breakdown Structures.
• Lead weekly scheduling meetings and conduct regular jobsite visits to validate progress.
• Mentor scheduling staff and manage schedulers on assigned projects.
• Participate in schedule reviews with Clients and General Contractors and ensure schedule updates are approved.
