A leading construction consulting firm is seeking a mid-to-senior Scheduling / Cost Engineer in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in commercial building or heavy civil construction, strong knowledge of scheduling tools like Primavera, and exceptional communication skills. Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in the commercial building or heavy civil construction industry.
• On-site project experience required, preferably as a Project Manager, Project Engineer or Superintendent.
• Experience in document review and analyses of schedules, contracts, change orders.

Responsibilities

• Create/manage/analyze CPM schedules.
• Analyze schedule progress, trends and delays; evaluate schedule and/or cost changes.
• Develop critical item report analysis that highlight significant program issues.

Skills

Knowledge of scheduling programs such as Primavera

Strong written and oral communication skills

Education

Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Project Management
