Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking a Senior Project Controls professional in the United States to lead planning and scheduling controls for major capital programs. You will develop, monitor, and integrate schedules with cost, risk, and governance processes, coordinating with BP and contractors while ensuring readiness for subsequent phases.

The role requires strong CPM scheduling expertise, 7+ years in project controls, and the ability to communicate mitigation strategies

Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in project controls and time/schedule management.
• Experience supporting design and construction for medium-to-large capital programs.
• Strong knowledge of critical path method scheduling and schedule risk identification.
• Ability to analyze EPC plans and communicate mitigation strategies clearly.
• Self-directed, proactive in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project planning and scheduling controls strategy with BP and contractors.
• Adhere to financial, business, and project processes across all stages.
• Provide schedules to support accurate estimating, benchmarking, and interface planning.
• Coordinate internal and external schedule benchmarks; ensure readiness for future phases.
• Prepare and manage the WBS/CBS with the Cost Engineer; monitor schedules throughout lifecycle.
• Develop schedule risk analyses and integrate with risk/change processes.
• Establish project-wide progress measurement and reporting with roll-up structures.
• Generate and present schedule reports and updates to stakeholders.
• Support project closeout planning and other duties; some in-person collaboration with stakeholders.
