Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a project controls professional to support complex projects in the United States. You will manage schedule, cost, and performance reporting across a portfolio of programs, applying advanced PMIS and Earned Value Management techniques.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of related experience, with travel up to 10%. Candidate will work with Primavera P6, EcoSys, and Primavera Unifier to monitor progress and forecast resource needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; five years of related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6, earned value management and project controls.
• Experience with cost loading, schedule integration, and PMIS systems (e.g., Primavera Unifier, EcoSys).

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and government regulations.
• Gather progress data from project teams to monitor medium/high complexity projects.
• Develop time-phased cost/resource forecasts and validate costs against forecasts.
• Produce Earned Value Management reports and discuss observations with project managers.
• Prepare client and internal status reports communicating cost status and trends.
