Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Scheduler to join our team and support scheduling as a project controls function on a large-scale project. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record delivering construction project control services and experience with IMS, EVM, and schedule baselines.

Responsibilities include developing and updating schedules, establishing management programs, interfacing with stakeholders, and providing periodic reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in construction project controls.
• Experience in a complex matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor and update owners' IMS.
• Establish the schedule management program and deliverables for large programs.
• Interface with project stakeholders as trusted advisors.
• Prepare baseline schedules and schedule basis documents.
• Conduct resource loading and leveling of schedules.
• Assess impacts on critical path and near-critical activities.
• Monitor deviations and assist in developing corrective actions.
• Apply EVM methodology to measure progress.
• Review schedules and ensure timely, accurate data.
• Provide schedule progress reports and trend analyses.

Responsibilities:

Develop,monitorand updateowners'Project Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).

Establish the schedule management program and deliverables to be used on large scale capital programs.

Interface with project stakeholders astrusted advisorsto provide guidance and recommendations for the project.

Prepare baseline schedules and schedule basis documents for approval by project teams.

Conductschedule ofresource loading and leveling.

Assess impactsonthe critical path and near-critical activities and report to the project team.

Monitor schedule deviations and variances andassistin thedevelopmentof alternative methods for corrective action.

Apply EVMmethodologyto measure project progress.

Review schedules with project team members on a regular basis to ensure thataccurateandtimelydata is incorporatedintothe schedule.

Prepare and provide schedule progress reports, trendingcharts,and schedule analysis on a periodic basis.

Maintain record of scope changes, trends and variances that potentially affect schedule performance.

Assurethe credibilityof the information contained in the schedule.

Maintain liaison withclientsand other consultants at allprojectsstages.

SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.

Project/Program Specifications:

• Project/Program specific responsibilities: Provide Milestone tracking, Individual Project Schedules, Portfolio Master scheduling and the Procurement Master schedules on a regular basis; Facilitate interactive planning and coordination workshops for critical facility shutdowns.
• Market sector experience: Life Science preferred but not required.
• Project/program size in dollar value: Projects ranging from $100k to $70M; Up to 40 projects yearly
• Software specific requirements: Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC), Primavera P6
• Certification requirements: Relevant industry certification preferred
• Project/Program specific responsibilities: Provide Milestone tracking, Individual Project Schedules, Portfolio Master scheduling and the Procurement Master schedules on a regular basis; Facilitate interactive planning and coordination workshops for critical facility shutdowns.

Trner & Townsend carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the senior scheduler is$140,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $165,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
