Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Scheduling Manager to lead scheduling and project controls for large-scale federal programs. You will drive CPM schedules, risk analysis, earned value, change management, and reporting across the project lifecycle. This role demands deep experience with CPM logic, EVM, and integrated controls.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of scheduling, planning, or project controls experience supporting federal programs or projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provides analysis of schedule data to identify key project issues.
  • Supports the development of plans and schedules for proposals.
  • May assist in leading junior staff through assignment tasks.
  • Assists in tracking corrective actions.
  • Assists in coordination of schedule input from all parts of the organization.
  • Able to identify and assist in analysis of project schedule variances and recommend corrective action.
  • Updates and produces scheduling management reports.
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of WBS and project coding usage.
  • Uses drawings and specs for schedule development.
  • Develops CPM schedule logic for engineering, procurement and construction.
  • Resource loads schedules and performs remedial schedule risk analysis.
  • Assembles data for schedule updating.
  • Familiar with contracting and scheduling implications.
  • Measures progress and reviews contractor invoices.
  • Reviews PO and subcontract schedule status and provides input on performance.
  • Knowledgeable in scope control, change management, and earned value methodology.
  • Leads or supports baseline schedule maintenance.
  • Familiar with cost analysis and forecasting for planning and scheduling.
  • Performs or assists in performance measurement and schedule trends.
  • Supports project reporting at various levels.
  • Participates in scheduling review meetings and procedure development.
