Job summary

Scott Humphrey Corporation in the Dallas–Fort Worth area is seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler to lead the planning, development, and management of schedules for complex commercial projects. The role requires close collaboration with field teams and project management to drive on-time delivery across K-12 and data-center programs.

Applicants must have 8+ years of construction scheduling or project controls, with K-12 and/or Data Center/Mission Critical experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction scheduling, project controls, or related commercial construction experience.
• K-12 and/or Data Center/Mission Critical construction experience required.
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6.
• Strong knowledge of CPM scheduling, critical path analysis, schedule forecasting, and recovery planning.
• Thorough understanding of construction means, methods, sequencing, procurement, and project lifecycle.
• Ability to independently develop and manage schedules for large and/or complex projects.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate schedule risks and recommendations to project teams and senior leadership.
• General Contractor experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, maintenance, and analysis of detailed project schedules from preconstruction through final completion.
• Develop comprehensive baseline schedules incorporating design, procurement, permitting, construction, commissioning, and turnover activities.
• Partner with Project Executives, Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors to establish project sequencing and milestone requirements.
• Perform regular schedule updates and detailed critical path analysis.
• Identify schedule risks, delays, and potential impacts to key project milestones.
• Develop recovery, mitigation, and acceleration schedules when necessary.
• Analyze schedule variances and provide recommendations to project leadership.
• Integrate subcontractor, procurement, and long-lead activities into master project schedules.
• Lead schedule review meetings with project teams and key stakeholders.
• Provide schedule reporting, forecasting, and analysis to senior leadership.
• Support project teams with phasing, sequencing, logistics, and milestone planning.
• Assist with schedule-related documentation for change management, delay analysis, and project reporting.
• Provide scheduling guidance and mentorship to project teams and junior scheduling personnel.

Our client, a well-established commercial General Contractor in the Dallas-Fort Worth market, is seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler to join its team. This individual will play a key role in the planning, development, and management of schedules for complex construction projects throughout the DFW area.

The ideal candidate will have significant scheduling and project controls experience on K-12 and/or Data Center/Mission Critical construction projects, with the ability to work closely with both field and project management teams to drive successful project delivery.

IMPORTANT: Previous construction scheduling experience within K-12 and/or Data Center/Mission Critical construction is REQUIRED.
