NES Fircroft is excited to announce that our Chicago office has recently acquired a new job opportunity with a national oil and gas organization at their refinery in Lima, OH for a Senior Scheduler.
This individual would be employed on a contract-to-hire basis to support the Lima Refinery Project Management Team by preparing and maintaining multiple project and/or turnaround schedules from feasibility studies to the planning and implementation phases. The goal is to ensure projects have realistic schedules and reliable execution plans, and that key stakeholders are informed and aligned.

Job Details
Location: Lima, OH—Hybrid schedule is feasible.
Hours: M-F—40-50 hours per week.
Pay Range: $75/hr.-$85/hr. + per diem for non-local candidates.
Contract Duration: 1 Year with potential for extension or full-time employment.

Responsibilities

• Develop resource-loaded level I, II, III & IV integrated project schedules under the direction of Project Managers and the Project Controls Manager.
• Build & maintain the master schedule for the Lima Refinery project portfolio.
• Integrate schedules of EPC firms and construction teams, establishing logical work sequences aligned with the Project Execution strategy.
• Organize and facilitate interactive project planning sessions.
• Coordinate with estimating and project cost specialists for cost and schedule alignment.
• Consolidate progress and performance reports from EPC and construction teams; support the Construction Management Team in monitoring progress.
• Produce reports and analysis using Primavera and other systems; coordinate schedule interfaces and identify issues with recommendations.
• Report baseline schedules versus plans (dashboard) and prepare management reports as needed.
• Interface with supply chain management for schedule updates and activity inclusion.
• Participate in developing planning/scheduling procedures and templates.
• Review schedule data, ensuring logical consistency and stakeholder communication.
• Document schedule changes through the change management system.
• Create and present schedule basis for assigned schedules.
• Perform manpower resource loading as required.
• Participate in annual work planning meetings with area portfolio managers.
• Perform critical path analysis and report activities impacting the schedule.

Job Qualifications

• 10+ years of planning/scheduling experience.
• 5+ years supporting engineering/construction capital projects or turnarounds on the plant owner side.
• Experience with P6 Primavera and MS Excel.
• Experience with Power BI is a plus.
• Local candidates to Lima, OH preferred.
