Senior Scheduler Position Summary

The Senior Scheduler leads the planning and scheduling efforts for major projects and portfolios. This position requires working with project teams and stakeholders to develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and demonstrates strong leadership, organizational, time‑management, communication, and client‑service skills.

Major Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ability to set up, organize, and develop schedules for individual projects over $100M in magnitude.
  • Lead project teams in schedule development.
  • Train and develop schedulers.
  • Perform TIAs as required.
  • Support resource‑ and cost‑loaded schedules as required.
  • Support earned value analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to create formal ‘Basis of Schedule’ documents.
  • Ability to support pull‑planning.
  • Ability to interact with clients as a key project team member.
  • Demonstrate an advanced understanding of scheduling software features.
  • Demonstrate understanding of large‑scale and complex construction projects.
  • Responsible for conducting oneself in accordance with our Guiding Principles and exhibiting attributes matching the Way We Work.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent. Replacement of required education with related experience on a one‑to‑one basis is permitted.
  • 15 years of industry experience.
Working Conditions & Physical Efforts
  • Ability to physically stand, bend, sit for long periods, and squat throughout the day.
  • Ability to repeat the same movements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to participate fully in meetings, video conferences, and phone calls.
  • Use hands to type, handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or control.
  • Occasionally lift, pull, or move up to 25 lbs.
  • Occasional travel will be required, primarily in the metropolitan area but sometimes domestically (must have a valid driver’s license).
