We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Scheduler to support large-scale Transmission & Distribution (T&D) capital projects. This position will develop, maintain, analyze, and report on integrated project schedules throughout the project lifecycle, from development through execution.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience utilizing Primavera P6, a strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, construction teams, and other project stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in Primavera P6.
- Support project planning activities throughout the development and execution phases.
- Identify and analyze critical path activities, schedule risks, and potential delays.
- Monitor project progress and provide schedule performance reports and forecasts.
- Update schedules based on project changes, field conditions, and stakeholder input.
- Perform schedule quality reviews and ensure compliance with established project controls standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, construction teams, and leadership to ensure schedule accuracy.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide scheduling expertise and recommendations.
- Support project forecasting, scenario planning, and schedule recovery efforts when required.
- Adapt existing scheduling templates and standards while maintaining consistency across projects.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of project scheduling experience on Transmission and Distribution projects.
- Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6.
- Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling.
- Experience developing and maintaining complex, resource-loaded project schedules.
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Ability to interpret engineering, construction, and project-related documentation.
- Experience supporting large capital infrastructure projects.
- Experience supporting transmission, substation, generation, or utility capital projects.
- Familiarity with schedule risk analysis and recovery planning.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
