Job summary

Tecolote Research, Inc. seeks a senior Schedule Analyst to support Space Access, Space Mobility, and Logistics programs in Florida.

You will develop an Integrated Master Schedule, produce leadership-ready summaries, and perform risk assessments to reflect schedule risk and uncertainty across timelines. Embedded with the Florida-based team, you will engage with Program Managers, IPTL leads, and Responsible Engineers, ensuring evolving scope is accurately represented and aligned with program

Qualifications

  • Nine+ years of schedule experience, with at least five years in a space program environment.
  • Experience creating senior leadership schedule roadmaps and detailed schedules for deep-dives.
  • Familiarity with launch, range, satellite acquisition and sustainment is highly desired.
  • Proficient in critical path methodology, schedule quality, and execution metrics.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and data-visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work independently and in a team.

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with strong analytical and communication abilities to provide schedule analysis support for the Space Access, Space Mobility, and Logistics program.

Responsibilities
  • This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining a fully integrated Integrated Master Schedule that accurately captures mission scope, sequencing, and cross‑program interdependencies.
  • The role includes producing high‑level schedule summaries for leadership as well as detailed analytical views to support deep dives into specific mission areas.
  • The analyst will ensure contractor schedules comply with DoW and DCMA standards and will conduct comprehensive schedule risk assessments to provide the government with an independent schedule position that reflects risk and uncertainty across program timelines.
  • Embedded with the Florida‑based team, the analyst will work closely with Program Managers, Integrated Product Team Leads, and Responsible Engineers, participating in all programmatic meetings to ensure evolving scope, logic, and technical decisions are accurately represented in schedule products.
  • Work closely with Government Program Office teams and contractors to assess Integrated Master Schedule information for compliance and performance to program baselines.
  • The Schedule Analyst will perform a wide variety of schedule management duties for the Space Mobility and Logistics Program
  • Responsible for developing and integrating program and enterprise-level schedules, publishing schedules, conducting schedule analysis, and reporting results to senior leadership.
Skills Required
  • Requires at least nine years of schedule experience, including a minimum of five years in a space program environment. Familiarity with systems engineering principles, large-scale development and test programs, risk analysis, and cost estimating is preferred.
  • Experience creating high level schedule roadmaps used by senior leadership to inform strategic decision making as well as detailed schedules used to deep dive and drive schedule execution
  • Experience in launch, range, and satellite acquisition and sustainment is highly desired.
  • Knowledge of schedule management and analysis best practices is required, including critical path methodology, schedule quality, and execution metrics such as the DCMA 14-Point Assessment.
  • Familiarity with the Planning & Scheduling Excellence Guide (PASEG), GAO Scheduling Assessment Guide, GAO Cost Estimating & Assessment Guide, NDIA Guide to Managing Programs using Predictive Measures, Integrated Program Management Data Analysis Report (IPMDAR), and ANSl/EIA Standard 748.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project) and OnePager Pro (or other graphic project reporting and data visualization software) is required, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools (such as Power BI and Tableau), systems engineering practices, and space systems development is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, business, economics, finance, accounting, engineering, or statistics is required.
  • DoW Top Secret/SCI security clearance required
