Zartis is a digital solutions provider delivering technology strategy, software engineering and product development. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on a green energy project, focusing on GraphQL API, event gateway, and scalable backend systems built with Scala.

You will participate in agile ceremonies, contribute to platform health, and implement IaC with Terraform, Kubernetes, and AWS. This role offers 100% remote work and strong career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in backend software development.
• Strong professional experience with Scala.
• Proven track record with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Experience with GraphQL and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB).
• Evidence of proactively solving complex problems and independence.
• Collaborative mindset with experience in pair programming and peer reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support core products including a GraphQL API and event gateway using Scala.
• Work on discovery tasks, technical debt reduction, and core delivery tickets.
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as weekly planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with the engineering community on platform health reviews and post-mortems.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code to manage deployments on Kubernetes.
