Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Scaffold Builder – Leadman to supervise the erection, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding across industrial sites in the United States. You will lead on-site activities, ensuring safety and compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Candidates should hold NCCER Scaffold certification, a valid driver’s license, and have at least 4 years of journeyman-level experience.

Qualifications

• Education: no minimum education requirements.
• Certification/License: NCCER Scaffold certification and a Valid Driver’s License.
• Experience: 4 years of Journeyman-level experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise scaffold construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling.
• Determine scaffold type and instruct on installation.
• Oversee transport and erection of tubular scaffolding.
• Hoist scaffolding materials to erect temporary structures.
• Secure and level scaffold components for stability.
• Secure scaffold to structures for added safety.
• Adhere to OSHA, site rules, and Austin Industrial requirements.
• Dismantle scaffolding when instructed; inspect and store materials.
• Inspect completed scaffolding prior to use.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.
