Job summary

Austin Industrial in Baytown, TX is seeking a Scaffold Builder Leadman to supervise the construction, assembly, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding and temporary structures on-site. You will lead teams, ensure safety, and coordinate material movement to meet project goals.

Qualified candidates have NCCER Scaffold certification, a valid driver’s license, and 4 years of journeyman-level experience. This is a full-time, on-site role with competitive hourly pay and US work eligibility.

Qualifications

• Certification in NCCER Scaffold required.
• Journeyman-level experience of 4 years required.

Responsibilities

• supervise in construction, assembly, maintenance and dismantling of tubular scaffolding or other temporary structures.
• oversee transport and erect scaffold as instructed by scaffold builder.
• ensure proper securing of scaffold to permanent structures for stability.
• perform final inspection and stow scaffolding materials after dismantling.
• adhere to OSHA and site-specific safety requirements at all times.
