Invenergy is looking for a Principal Engineer to join their Construction team in Minnesota. This role focuses on leading SCADA systems integration for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and supporting other technologies. The ideal candidate will drive technical strategy, manage projects, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

With 8+ years in power generation SCADA, expertise in vendor management, and strong communication skills, the Principal Engineer will play a key role in delivering renewable energy solutions while adhering to NERC and reliability requirements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience with power generation SCADA and control systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Up to 25% travel required.

Responsibilities

• Own SCADA integration for BESS projects from concept through commissioning.
• Lead technical reviews of vendor submittals and documentation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to align SCADA deliverables with project requirements.
