Job summary

Invenergy is looking for a Principal Engineer to join their Construction team, focusing on the engineering and integration of SCADA systems for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The position is vital for ensuring reliable data connectivity across various energy generation technologies.

Ideal candidates will hold a BS in Electrical Engineering, have over 8 years of relevant experience, and demonstrate strong technical leadership in SCADA systems. This role requires up to 25% travel and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience with power generation SCADA and power plant control systems.
• Strong experience delivering BESS focused SCADA and controls integration.
• Ability to coordinate and manage multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Own SCADA and controls integration for BESS projects from concept through commissioning.
• Lead technical reviews and provide escalation level troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align SCADA deliverables with project requirements.
