Invenergy is seeking a Principal Engineer for their Construction team, focusing on SCADA systems and communications infrastructure for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and other technologies. This role involves technical leadership, specification development, and project execution support.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering and over 8 years of experience with power generation SCADA systems. A strong focus on BESS integration is essential, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects accordingly.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience with power generation SCADA and power plant control systems.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering BESS focused SCADA and controls integration.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own SCADA and controls integration approach for BESS projects.
• Lead technical reviews of vendor submittals and drawings.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams during project execution.
