Job summary

Apache Corporation is seeking a Senior SCADA Applications Analyst to support the CygNet SCADA platform and related operational systems in a fast-paced energy environment. You will lead, diagnose, and resolve complex issues, while collaborating with Operations, Engineering, and IT teams to ensure system integrity and reliability.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, hands-on SCADA administration, and experience with IT/OT processes in a regulated setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required; equivalent experience considered.
• 5–8 years of enterprise applications support, with at least 3 years in SCADA/industrial control.
• Hands-on experience administering the CygNet SCADA platform in production.
• Strong understanding of oil and gas, utilities, energy, pipeline operations, or similar industrial environments.
• Experience troubleshooting integration issues across distributed systems.
• Knowledge of CygNet architecture, protocols, alarms, and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day application support and technical expertise for the CygNet SCADA platform.
• Monitor system health, performance, interfaces, and data flows to ensure reliable operations.
• Troubleshoot complex application and data issues within SLAs.
• Analyze incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and document resolutions.
• Support SCADA upgrades, patches, and system enhancements with minimal impact.
• Collaborate with OT/IT teams to meet business requirements.
• Develop and maintain integrations between CygNet and enterprise systems.
• Create documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
• Participate in after-hours support and on-call rotations.
• Ensure cybersecurity and compliance for supported apps.
