Devon in Houston is seeking a seasoned SCADA Specialist/Engineer to lead the implementation, support and maintenance of the enterprise SCADA system. The role designs and deploys processes to reduce costs, improve runtime and reinforce a culture of safety.
The position requires a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or CS or commensurate experience, with 10+ years in related work, and strong skills in Python, SQL, C#, and .NET, plus SCADA experience (Ignition preferred). On-call rotation and travel <5% are expected.

The SCADA Specialist or Engineer is responsible for the implementation, support and maintanence of the enterprise SCADA system. The position will design and deploy processes to reduce operational cost, improve runtime and support our culture of safety. The SCADA Specialist or Engineer participates in new project design as a project team member from kickoff to completion and maintains interfaces with other external systems. The position will provide superior customer support to SCADA system users. This role requires a detail-oriented skillset with exceptional problem solving skills.
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, and/or commensurate experience preferred.
