Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of relevant SBA, C&I and real estate financing experience.
• Expert knowledge of SBA Standard Operating Procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree; finance or business focus preferred.
• Ability to manage and underwrite complex transactions with limited guidance.
• Strong knowledge of financial services and relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Review loan applications to determine eligibility and documentation needs.
• Structure loan packages to fit product minimums and requirements.
• Understand tax returns, bank statements, and interim financials.
• Decide on loan file outcomes (decline/suspend/submit for approval).
• Run background checks and review third-party reports (Credit, Experian, CAIVRS).
• Coordinate with clients via calls; ensure file comfort before underwriting.
• Underwrite transactions and prepare packages for third-party approval.
• Support department operations and contribute to a strong work environment.
