Job summary
Intellian Technologies in Rockville, MD, seeks an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to lead satellite UT architecture and product delivery. You will drive execution, integration, and implementation of new user terminals for LEO/MEO/GEO UT products, coordinating across engineering, product, QA, production, and supply chain.
The role focuses on customer-facing program management, risk mitigation, and on-time delivery, with mentorship of junior PMs and governance of project documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of project/program management experience with hardware product development.
- 7+ years in SW/HW development environments, satellite communications, RF, or network architecture.
- Experience supporting NPI, ramp-up, and production readiness.
- Proven track record delivering large cross-functional initiatives on time and within budget.
- Advanced technical fluency; capable of communicating with engineers and senior leadership.
- Ability to mentor junior team members and influence without authority.
- Experience managing customer-facing technical issues and complex product management.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and enterprise scheduling tools.
Responsibilities
- Lifecycle Leadership: provide technical program leadership for terminal development and in-life management.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: synchronize across Engineering, Product, QA, Production, and Supply Chain.
- Customer-Facing Communication: act as the primary technical interface for customers with status updates.
- Quality & Readiness Integration: drive DVT, QA, regulatory certification, and production-readiness.
- Structured Governance: track risk, issues, and corrective actions across all phases.
- Root-Cause Analysis: support 8D-style issue governance for complex anomalies.
- Program Execution & Road-mapping: drive lifecycle from planning to global delivery with cross-functional teams.
- Program Ownership: lead PMO practices and ensure on-time delivery to partners and customers.
- Project Planning: develop and manage plans from concept to mass production for UT systems.
- Supply Chain Coordination: optimize procurement and track global delivery timelines.
