Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Satellite Systems Engineer to design and integrate space segment architectures for government and international customers. You will own requirements, perform trade studies, and support integration and test activities to ensure mission success.

The role requires hands-on spacecraft design experience, strong systems engineering skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of space systems experience.
• 5+ years of space systems engineering principles, budgets, and validation processes.
• 4+ years in spacecraft systems engineering or related field with hands-on satellite design.

Responsibilities

• Own space segment systems engineering including requirements decomposition and verification.
• Collaborate with program and product management to ensure program execution.
• Develop integrated satellite system designs and verify interfaces and constraints.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure system execution and test readiness.
• Participate in software-to-hardware integration and mission operations testing.
