Job summary

General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems (GA-EMS) is seeking a Software Integration Lead to join our Englewood, CO team, guiding software integration from planning through execution for satellite systems.

You will design and enhance CI/CD pipelines, troubleshoot complex issues, and develop flight and interface software while collaborating with customers and suppliers. TS-SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors, Masters or PhD in computer science, information systems or related discipline with extensive software development experience.
• Solid understanding of software development and integration concepts and theory.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to an evolving environment.
• Experience with C/C++, Python, RTOS, embedded systems, Linux, and IP networking desired.
• Familiarity with Git and version control practices.
• Satellite software experience and safety-critical software is a plus.
• Good communication, documentation and teamwork skills; travel may be required; TS-SCI clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead software integration activities from planning through execution.
• Support functional and performance testing for satellite assemblies and tests.
• Design, implement, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot software, system configuration, network interfaces and OS issues.
• Develop and test flight and interface software and drivers for satellite systems.
• Perform all SDLC phases: requirements, design, development, integration, test, debug, and documentation.
• Analyze and resolve engineering problems and future applications.
• Prepare technical responses to bids, presentations and reports for various customers.
• Support and participate in customer and supplier meetings; liaise with GA staff and external teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
