Job summary

SAIC seeks a Satellite Program Office Director’s Action Group (DAG) Officer for full‑time, on‑site work in Chantilly, VA. The role drives action tasking, tracking, and closure within a Government program office team to ensure on‑time launch and on‑orbit performance.

Candidates should have 15+ years with a Bachelor's or 13+ with a Master's, strong leadership and communication skills, and experience in satellite systems engineering and acquisition. TS/SCI is required; SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 15+ years or Master's degree with 13+ years experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, team building and problem‑solving skills in government/contractor team environments.
• Experience providing systems engineering support for satellite systems and ability to work with DOD personnel and industry partners.
• TS/SCI clearance is required; SAP experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assign actions to stakeholders and track status for review and final submission.
• Track and report on internal and external actions; provide summaries and metrics.
• Facilitate information sharing across organizational units and partners.
• Support development of reports, assessments, and strategic planning documents.
• Manage the action tracking system and ensure responsiveness to daily actions, deadlines, and leadership visibility.
