Job summary

Viasat in the United States seeks an experienced policy and regulatory affairs professional to develop and implement its U.S. regulatory strategy. You will work with senior leaders to shape positions on spectrum, FCC, and NTIA matters.

You will lead advocacy efforts, meet with regulators, prepare filings and testimony, and coordinate with outside counsel, internal partners, and international groups. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in government and regulatory affairs, preference for FCC matters.
• Juris Doctorate or equivalent.
• Strategic thinker who can advocate clearly in writing and speech.
• Excellent organizational skills; manage multiple projects under pressure.
• Exceptional communication; obtain needed answers from partners, government, and counsel.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
