Terran Orbital seeks a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to optimize and implement manufacturing processes for EPS hardware. You will design floor layouts, lead tooling initiatives, and translate development to full-rate production, collaborating with engineers, machinists, and vendors.

You will contribute to process improvements, quality plans, and documentation while ensuring manufacturability, reliability, and DoD-related requirements are met. The role reports to the IPT Lead – EPS.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in ME/EE/Aerospace or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years in a manufacturing engineering role in high-reliability settings.
• Experience in design for manufacturability, PFMEA, lean manufacturing, and automation.

Mansioni

• Execute and evolve manufacturing strategy and technology roadmap.
• Design production floor layout for flight hardware and scaling.
• Identify tooling needs and stand up key production capabilities.
• Develop procedures and transition components from development to production.
• Lead readiness reviews for transition to full-rate production.
