Job summary

Vantor's SpaceWrx division seeks an experienced Satellite & Ground Systems Engineer to lead systems engineering across complex space and ground programs. You will establish the technical foundation by defining mission concepts, ConOps, and stakeholder requirements, and ensure traceability from concept through verification and deployment.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor-level degree in a technical discipline and 6+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Experience developing system architecture from stakeholder needs through implementation and verification.
• Experience creating Concepts of Operations (ConOps), operational scenarios, mission threads, and use cases.
• Experience eliciting, decomposing, allocating, and managing system requirements.
• Experience maintaining requirements traceability across stakeholders, architecture, design, verification and test results.
• Familiarity with MBSE methodologies and SysML; ability to work across hardware, software and operational domains.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment and balance multiple programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and sustain systems engineering activities across multiple space and ground development programs.
• Define mission concepts, ConOps, stakeholder needs, and system requirements.
• Develop high-level system architecture and ensure technical consistency from concept to verification and deployment.
• Collaborate across disciplines and drive architecture, integration, analysis, and technical decisions.
• Guide the system lifecycle from concept development through sustainment with traceability and rigorous verification.
