Job summary

Moog Advanced Programs West, part of Moog Space and Defense, seeks a Senior Satellite Flight Software Integration and Test Engineer in Arvada, CO. You will lead integration and test activities for satellite avionics, write procedures, and automate tests to verify vehicle performance.

Ideal candidates have 8 years of hardware/software testing, strong scripting, and experience with satellite systems; a B.S./M.S. in engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or similar.
• 8 years of experience testing hardware and software.
• Experience in integration and test of satellite avionics hardware or flight software.
• Experience reviewing requirements and writing detailed test procedures and scripts.
• Experience with test planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of avionics hardware/software that comprise the space vehicle.
• Write test procedures and plans; create scripts for tests and automation.
• Execute test procedures and scripts to verify space vehicle meets customer needs.
• Review requirements and design documents; interface with system engineers and software developers.
• Install and configure flight hardware and software.
