Job summary

ENSCO, Inc. in El Segundo, CA, seeks a Systems Integration and Test Engineer to join our MILSATCOM SE&I team. You will participate in AI&T activities, SoS integration, and support to government stakeholders and prime contractors.

You will evaluate technical readiness, identify risks, and communicate actionable recommendations to ensure mission success for space and ground systems. This on-site role offers collaboration in small teams and cutting-edge tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as engineering, mathematics, physics, or computer science.
• 8+ years of SATCOM AI&T, system testing, and production activities.
• Experience supporting program office technical, schedule, and cost activities, including risk/issue identification.
• Strong problem solving skills with ability to develop solutions under limited supervision.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical details to government leadership.
• Ability to identify priorities and execute tasks with minimal direction.
• Experience designing, analyzing, and assessing spacecraft and payload hardware for risk.
• Experience evaluating SATCOM ground systems for technical readiness.

Responsibilities

• Support government program office for SATCOM acquisition, AI&T, and test execution.
• Lead System of Systems integration and test, ensuring interoperability across space, ground, and terminals.
• Provide technical assessments of contractor activities and risk posture.
• Develop actionable technical recommendations for key government decisions.
• Review and tailor compliance documentation (SOW, CDRLs) for programs.
• Prepare detailed written/verbal progress assessments of integration maturity and risk.
