Job summary

WCG is seeking a Senior Statistical Programmer to develop, validate, and document SAS programs for clinical trial data analyses and regulatory submissions. This role leads programming activities, mentors junior programmers, and ensures deliverables meet industry standards.

Collaborate with statisticians, data managers, and clinical teams to interpret SAP programming specifications, troubleshoot issues, and drive process improvements across studies. Remote work is supported.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of SAS programming experience.
• R programming experience highly preferred.
• 2 years of macro programming experience.
• 3+ years in pharma/biotech/medical devices.
• Phase 1–4 clinical trials experience.
• Deep understanding of CDISC standards.
• Knowledge of SAP programming specifications.
• Attention to detail and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and document SAS programs for clinical trial datasets and outputs for regulatory submission.
• Lead programming activities and manage resources, timelines, and priorities.
• Perform QC and peer code reviews of all programming deliverables.
• Collaborate with statisticians, data managers, and clinical teams to meet project requirements.
• Troubleshoot programming and data issues to ensure timely data reporting.
• Mentor junior programmers and drive process improvements.
