TITLE: Senior SAS Developer

TYPE: Contract

LOCATION: Norristown, PA

ONSITE/REMOTE/HYBRID: Remote

SHIFT: 1st

We are looking for a Senior SAS Developer. The SAS Developer will join our Data Solutions team, focusing on the maintenance and support of our current SAS environment. This is a senior-level position with significant visibility, necessitating a robust understanding of our SAS systems as a whole.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide support for SAS and Oracle batch jobs.
2. Develop and optimize SAS applications.
3. Collaborate on SAS and Oracle development initiatives for the business team as needed.
4. Assist ad hoc customers with SAS and Oracle queries.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Strong understanding of Oracle database management and SQL programming.
2. Proficient in SAS, including base SAS, macros, and Proc SQL, along with experience accessing Oracle databases.
3. Ability to automate complex workflows into efficient applications.
4. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Experience collaborating with team members to define, document, and develop software solutions.
6. Familiarity with formal Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and change management tools (e.g., Cherwell).
7. Knowledge of SAS and Oracle performance tuning techniques.
8. Skilled in developing and debugging complex SAS ETL processes for Oracle databases.
9. Strong focus on customer service and business needs.
10. Excellent documentation and communication skills.
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
12. Track record of delivering high-quality work with meticulous attention to detail.
13. Familiarity with one or more of the following tools:
