JPC Partners is looking for a Senior SAS Developer that will work on a Data Solutions team and support an existing SAS environment.

Responsibilities:

• SAS Development
• Support of SAS / Oracle Batch jobs
• Support of SAS / Oracle Ad hoc customers
• As required SAS / Oracle development efforts for the business team

Required Skills:

• Strong SAS base, Macros, Proc SQL and Access to Oracle experience
• Strong understanding of the Oracle database and SQL programming language
• Experience working with formal SDLC and change management tools (e.g. Cherwell, etc.)
• (Sr.) demonstrated ability to support multiple projects concurrently
• (Sr.) experience working with team members to define, document, and develop software
• (Sr.) understanding of SAS/Oracle performance tuning techniques
• Experience developing/debugging complex SAS ETL against the Oracle database
• Experience automating complex processes into streamlined applications
• Strong customer and business focus
• Strong documentation and communications skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
• Demonstrated ability to produce high quality work products with attention to detail
