Job summary

Timken is seeking a Sr Supply Assurance Analyst to convert OE and after-market demand into supplier orders using SAP. You will manage component flow, production support, supplier coordination, and inventory management to meet service targets and financial goals.

The role requires deep SAP knowledge and collaboration across plants and suppliers to resolve supply issues. You will pull and analyze data, support continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure data quality for purchasing targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related discipline with 4+ years of experience.
• Procurement experience in supply chain within a manufacturing organization.
• Knowledge of bearing component production processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Analytical problem-solving experience.
• Excellent team skills.
• Results focus oriented.
• SAP functionality skills.
• Knowledge of finished goods.

Responsibilities

• Manage flow of components to finished goods production plants: ticket creation, deliveries, inventory counts.
• Create purchase orders in SAP and maintain open-order status reports.
• Review customer demand in SAP and translate into production quantities and locations.
• Support scheduling, reporting, and troubleshooting to keep planning on track.
• Coordinate with plants, suppliers, and sourcing to meet demand targets.
• Resolve supply issues within capacity constraints with plants and suppliers.
• Maintain safety stock levels and drive inventory financial targets.
• Perform master data maintenance and deployment workflows.
