Job summary

The Timken Company is seeking a Sr Supply Assurance Analyst (Finance) to transform OE and after-market demand into supplier orders. You will operate SAP to align supply with demand, manage component flow, and support inventory targets across plants and suppliers.

Ideal candidates have a manufacturing procurement background, SAP and Excel proficiency, and strong analytical skills. This role emphasizes collaboration, process improvement, and achieving service and financial targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration, or related field with 4+ years of experience.
• Procurement experience in manufacturing supply chain.
• Knowledge of bearing component production processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Analytical problem-solving experience.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Results-oriented with strong attention to detail.
• SAP functionality experience.
• Knowledge of finished goods.

Responsibilities

• Manage component flow to production plants, including ticket creation, deliveries, and inventories.
• Create SAP purchase orders and generate open-order/inbound status reports for visibility and control.
• Review customer demand in SAP and translate requirements into quantities and locations.
• Coordinate with plants, suppliers, and sourcing to adjust orders and capacity to meet demand.
• Address supply issues within capacity constraints and resolve shortages with facilities.
• Generate and analyze reports to track KPIs and support continuous improvement.
