Job summary

Senior SAP PP/QM Solution Architect - 100% (US Based) Remote - 12 Month Contract - Automotive Manufacturing

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP PP/QM Solution Architect to support SAP S/4HANA transformation and implementation programs within the automotive manufacturing industry.

You bring extensive SAP PP/QM expertise, a strong understanding of automotive manufacturing operations, and experience delivering solutions across multiple production sites.

To execute this role, you will be driving functional solution designs, support local SAP consultants, and ensure consistent, scalable SAP solutions are implemented in line with business requirements and manufacturing practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee SAP S/4HANA PP/QM solution designs to support automotive manufacturing operations.
• Provide functional direction and technical-functional guidance to local SAP consultants throughout project delivery.
• Translate manufacturing requirements into practical SAP solutions covering production planning, and quality management.
• Support functional teams during configuration, integration testing, user acceptance testing, cutover, and go-live.
• Work with local teams to address site-specific requirements while maintaining alignment with the overall solution architecture. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency, process consistency, and solution performance.

Required Experience and Skills

• Extensive experience working with SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) in manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations, transformations, or multi-site deployments.
• Demonstrated capability in defining functional solutions and maintaining design consistency across multiple manufacturing locations.
• Understanding of integration points between SAP PP, SAP QM, and related manufacturing processes with strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops and communicate complex functional concepts clearly.
• Ability to assess business requirements, resolve functional challenges, and develop sustainable solutions aligned with operational objectives.
• Must be based in the US to be considered for this opportunity.
