Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Physical Security Officer Senior Principal to support SAP, SCI and collateral data protection in the greater Suitland, Maryland region. The role emphasizes day-to-day multi-discipline security analysis with leadership responsibilities across a security-focused team.

Responsibilities include policy adherence, security program development, training, vulnerability assessment, and liaison with government and senior civilian staff.

Qualifications

• 14+ years related experience; OR 10+ years related experience AND Bachelor’s degree in a related area OR Associate’s degree in a related area + 2 years’ experience OR equivalent experience (4 years)
• 2+ years SAP experience required

Responsibilities

• Ensure strict adherence to the provisions of the NISPOM, its Supplement, the DoD Overprint, DCID, ICD, and SAP policy.
• Develop and execute policies and procedures for safeguarding SAP, SCI and collateral data.
• Provide day-to-day security support including assessment of procedures to identify shortfalls and recommend improvements.
• Identify vulnerabilities, threats and risks to test, training and operational activities.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and training the Operations Security program.
• Coordinate with SAP security personnel to incorporate lessons learned into SAP security education & awareness program.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and oversight of team members.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a related area

Associate’s degree in a related area + 2 years’ experience
