Intone Inc. seeks a Senior SAP Production Planning (PP) Solution Architect / Functional Lead for a 12-month contract in Houston, TX.

You will architect and deliver SAP S/4HANA PP across complex manufacturing environments, leading ATP/aATP capabilities and cross‑module integrations with MM, SD, EWM, QM, and MES. You will design, implement, and mentor on best practices, ensuring delivery commitments and robust workshop facilitation for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAP PP/MM experience with extensive ATP/aATP background.
• Experience in 3+ full lifecycle SAP implementations.
• Multiple S/4HANA migrations or transformation projects.
• Strong cross‑module understanding across PP, MM, SD, EWM, QM, MES.

We are seeking a Senior SAP Production Planning (PP) Solution Architect / Functional Lead for a 12-month contract position based in Houston, Texas. This is a critical role in a major S/4HANA transformation, designed for an expert who architects manufacturing excellence across complex supply chain and production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead full lifecycle solution architecture for SAP S/4HANA Production Planning, including MRP Live, Bill of Materials, Routings, and Production Orders
• Architect and implement Advanced Available-to-Promise (aATP) capabilities, including Alternative-Based Confirmation (ABC), Backorder Processing (BOP), and Product Allocation (PAL) to strengthen delivery commitments
• Oversee cross-module integration across PP, MM, SD, EWM, QM, and MES using APIs, IDocs, and OData
• Lead process optimization initiatives to streamline manufacturing workflows, reduce cycle time, and automate production processes
• Implement SAP best practices and manufacturing standards throughout the transformation
• Conduct workshops, lead stakeholder engagement, and communicate technical and business requirements across the organization
• Mentor junior team members and drive global alignment on production planning strategies

Qualifications

• Required
  • Deep, hands‑on expertise in ATP / Advanced ATP (aATP) with proven experience designing Alternative‑Based Confirmation (ABC), Backorder Processing (BOP), and Product Allocation (PAL)
  • 16–18+ years of hands‑on SAP PP/MM experience
  • 3+ full lifecycle SAP implementations
  • 2+ S/4HANA migrations or transformation projects
  • Strong background in High‑Tech, Manufacturing, Automotive, or Industrial sectors
  • Exceptional communication and workshop facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders and drive organizational alignment
• Preferred
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior SAP consultants
  • Expertise in integration technologies and API design within manufacturing environments
