Job summary

BrainWorks is seeking a seasoned SAP PP Solution Lead for a Houston-based manufacturing client. The role focuses on owning the production planning landscape, with accountability for PP module design, configuration, and governance across MRP, capacity planning, and shop floor control.

The position oversees design across SAP PP, WM, MM, and demand planning, and collaborates with IT and manufacturing leadership to ensure scalable, high-performance processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, business administration, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of SAP PP functional experience, including S/4HANA or ECC lifecycle.
• Deep configuration experience across MRP, production orders, capacity planning, BOMs, routings, and shop floor integration.
• Strong data governance and master data considerations in SAP environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the PP solution architecture for S/4HANA carve-out and transform target state across SAP PP and adjacent modules.
• Lead end-to-end PP design within S/4HANA implementations and carve-outs.
• Serve as SAP PP SME to IT, manufacturing, and supply chain leadership.
• Lead design authority for PP-enabled processes and clean-core architecture.
