Job summary

Vertex Inc. seeks a Principal Product Manager for SAP to own end-to-end product management and provide technical leadership across the SAP portfolio. You will drive strategy, roadmap, and requirements while guiding AI initiatives and pricing strategy to maximize customer value.

You will partner with Engineering, Sales, Consulting, and Marketing to ensure successful go-to-market execution and scalable, high-quality SAP solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience with end-to-end lifecycle ownership.
• Deep SAP knowledge and technical credibility: SAP architecture, BTP, APIs, cloud tech.
• Demonstrated AI fluency with AI initiatives in enterprise products.
• Strong commercial mindset with pricing, packaging, and value proposition experience.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product management for the SAP portfolio: define strategy, roadmap, backlog, and delivery with Engineering/Program teams.
• Lead AI initiatives for the SAP portfolio from opportunity to delivery.
• Own pricing and packaging for SAP offerings aligned with customer value and commercial strategy.
• Develop clear value propositions for SAP products and solutions and articulate the business problems they solve.
• Drive internal enablement across Sales, Consulting, Support, Product, and Marketing.
