Job summary

SHL Medical US LLC is seeking a Sr. SAP PP & QM Engineer to support a new state-of-the-art facility in North Charleston, SC.

You will optimize production planning and quality processes, implement integrated ERP solutions, and collaborate with global digital transformation teams to align with worldwide standards. The role requires strong SAP PP/QM expertise, 5+ years in a similar setting, and a track record of improving processes and data integrity within SAP.

Qualifications

• 5+ years SAP business analyst experience in a similar industry (pharma/medical devices preferred)
• Strong knowledge of SAP QM and PP and their integration with other systems
• Ability to acquire new knowledge and adapt in a fast-moving environment
• Excellent organizational, analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, MIS, logistics, manufacturing, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Leads analysis and resolution of complex SAP issues with advanced problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Owns and maintains comprehensive SAP documentation ensuring alignment with business and IT standards
• Provides user training and support upon request
• Leads design and implementation of advanced PP & QM functionalities aligned with global standards
• Resolves data integrity issues across SAP logistics modules
• Evaluates and re-engineers business processes to identify system enhancements
• Manages cross-functional process improvement projects within the area of responsibility
• Assesses risks, develops mitigation strategies, and leads root-cause analysis of non-conformances
• Collaborates with the global digital transformation team to offer technical solutions
• Performs duties and supports peers and junior engineers with high-impact SAP responsibilities
