Job summary

ClearpointCo in Houston is seeking a Principal SAP PP Solution Lead to shape the Production Planning landscape within a large S/4HANA transformation. You will own the strategic direction, partnering with manufacturing, supply chain, operations, and IT leadership to drive critical initiatives.

The role requires 7+ years of SAP PP experience, full lifecycle S/4HANA delivery, and deep expertise in MRP, BOMs, routings, and capacity planning.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of SAP PP functional experience.
• S/4HANA and/or full lifecycle SAP implementation experience.
• Strong manufacturing background with MRP, BOMs, Routings, Capacity Planning, Production Operations.
• Experience with adjacent SAP modules MM, WM, QM, or Demand Planning.
• Knowledge of SAP Engineering Change Management (ECM).
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience operating in large ERP transformation programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP PP solution architecture and roadmap efforts within an enterprise S/4HANA transformation.
• Design and optimize Production Planning processes including Production Orders, MRP, Capacity Planning, Repetitive Manufacturing.
• Act as the primary SAP PP SME for business and technical stakeholders.
• Drive fit-gap assessments, solution design decisions, and clean-core best practices.
• Collaborate across SAP PP, MM, WM, Demand Planning and other supply chain functions.
• Support BOM, Routing, and Engineering Change Management processes.
• Influence architecture standards, master data governance, testing strategy, go-live activities, and post-production support.
• Mentor SAP professionals while guiding leadership teams.
