Job summary

Amtex Enterprises Inc. seeks a Principal SAP PP Solution Lead in Houston, TX, to own the strategic direction of Production Planning in a major S/4HANA program. You will partner with manufacturing, supply chain, operations, and IT leadership to drive critical initiatives.

You will guide architecture, design, and governance across SAP PP and related modules, mentor SAP professionals, and influence go-live and post-production support in a high-visibility enterprise project.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of SAP PP functional experience.
• S/4HANA and full lifecycle SAP implementation experience.
• Strong manufacturing background with expertise in MRP, BOMs, Routings, Capacity Planning, Production Operations.
• Experience with adjacent SAP modules such as MM, WM, QM, or Demand Planning.
• Knowledge of SAP Engineering Change Management (ECM).
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience operating in large ERP transformation programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP PP solution architecture and roadmap efforts within an enterprise S/4HANA transformation.
• Design and optimize Production Planning processes including: Production Orders MRP Capacity Planning Shop Floor Control Repetitive Manufacturing.
• Act as the primary SAP PP subject matter expert for business and technical stakeholders.
• Drive fit-gap assessments, solution design decisions, and best practices around clean-core architecture.
• Collaborate across SAP PP, MM, WM, Demand Planning, and other supply chain functions.
• Support BOM, Routing, and Engineering Change Management processes.
• Influence architecture standards, master data governance, testing strategy, go-live activities, and post-production support.
• Mentor and guide SAP professionals while serving as a trusted advisor to leadership teams

Job Title : Principal SAP PP Solution Lead
Salary: Up to a $190K Base + 15% Bonus + Outstanding Benefits
Location: Houston, TX (290/Beltway Area) | Hybrid (2 Days Onsite)

Currently partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization that is investing heavily in a major SAP S/4HANA transformation and is seeking a Principal SAP PP Solution Lead to play a key role in shaping the future of its production planning landscape.

This is much more than a traditional SAP PP position. You’ll have the opportunity to own the strategic direction of Production Planning within a large-scale S/4HANA environment, partnering with manufacturing, supply chain, operations, and IT leadership to drive business-critical initiatives.

What You’ll Be Doing:

What We’re Looking For:

• 7+ years of SAP PP functional experience
• Prior S/4HANA and/or full lifecycle SAP implementation experience
• Strong manufacturing background with expertise in: MRP BOMs Routings Capacity Planning Production Operations
• Experience working with adjacent SAP modules such as MM, WM, QM, or Demand Planning
• Knowledge of SAP Engineering Change Management (ECM)
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Experience operating in large ERP transformation programs

Preferred Experience:

• Heavy manufacturing, industrial products, engineered products, electronics, or field service environments
• SAP certifications and cloud platform exposure
• Familiarity with PLM, QM, and Engineering Change integrations
