Chesapeake Utilities Corporation seeks an experienced SAP Platforms Basis & Security Lead to act as technical authority for Basis and Security across the enterprise SAP landscape. You will guide governance, security, and the technical roadmap while hands-on leading SAP S/4HANA, BTP, and cloud technologies.

Role requires 15+ years SAP experience with 10+ years in platform operations and governance. Hybrid work with 2 weeks onsite monthly in Newark, DE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of SAP technical experience; 10+ years in SAP platform operations, architecture, security, or governance.

Responsibilities

• Owns governance, security, stability, compliance, and the technical roadmap for SAP S/4HANA and related SAP applications.
• Provides hands-on leadership across SAP S/4HANA, BTP, Basis, Security, Integration Suite, Fiori, and SAP Public Cloud technologies.
• Governs SAP security, role design, access management, SoD, and identity services (IAG, IAS, IPS).
• Supports SOX, ITGC, internal and external audit, and compliance activities.
• Owns SAP Cloud ALM (CALM), transport management, ChaRM, release management, and deployment governance.
• Oversees SAP analytics and data platforms including BDC, Datasphere, and SAC.
• Coordinates AMS vendors and support teams to resolve incidents and implement enhancements.
• Review and approve technical designs, architecture decisions, security controls, and platform changes.
• Supports production issue resolution and root-cause analysis.
