Job summary

Chesapeake Utilities Corporation seeks an accomplished SAP Platforms Basis & Security Lead to act as the technical authority for Basis and security across the enterprise SAP ecosystem. You will provide hands-on leadership for SAP Basis, Security, Identity & Access Governance, Cloud ALM, and platform operations.

You will govern the roadmap for SAP S/4HANA and related applications, partnering with functional teams, AMS providers, cybersecurity, infrastructure, audits, and business stakeholders to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 15+ years of SAP technical experience and 10+ years in platform operations or governance.
• Experience with S/4HANA, BTP, basis, security, and integration tech.
• Proven ability to lead across AMS providers, SI partners, and audit teams.

Responsibilities

• Owns governance and the roadmap for the enterprise SAP platform.
• Provide hands-on leadership across SAP S/4HANA, Basis, Security, and Cloud technologies.
• Governs SAP security, access controls, SoD, and identity services.
• Supports SOX, ITGC, and internal/external audits and compliance.
• Oversees CALM, transport, ChaRM, release, and deployment governance.
• Coordinates with AMS vendors to resolve incidents and drive improvements.
• Reviews designs and security controls; leads root-cause analysis.
