Chesapeake Utilities Corporation seeks a SAP Platforms Basis & Security Lead to act as the technical authority for SAP Basis, Security and governance. You will lead across S/4HANA, BTP, CPS, and CALM, coordinating with partners to maintain a secure and scalable SAP environment.

Lead SOX/ITGC compliance, release management, and platform improvements while guiding AMS providers and internal teams. This role demands deep SAP expertise and strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 15+ years SAP technical experience with 10+ years in platform operations/architecture.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, BTP, and security governance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• SAP certifications in Basis, Security, or Architecture are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own governance and roadmap for the enterprise SAP platform.
• Provide hands-on leadership across SAP technologies and security.
• Coordinate with AMS providers, architects, and auditors.
• Support SOX/ITGC, audits, and compliance activities.
• Review designs, security controls, and platform changes.
