Job summary

Gables Search Group is seeking a Senior Master Production Scheduler to lead site-level scheduling and act as a system expert for S/4HANA, PP/DS, and IBP. You will translate IBP plans into executable schedules and drive data integrity and process adherence.

In this senior, individual-contributor role, you will mentor junior schedulers, coordinate with IT and CoE, and optimize planning systems while balancing service, inventory, and production efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of production planning and scheduling experience in manufacturing.
• 5+ years hands-on SAP experience. S/4HANA.
• Experience as a Super User or system expert in SAP planning modules.
• Experience with IBP integration and understanding of aggregate-to-detailed planning flow.

Responsibilities

• Master Production Scheduling (60%).
• Detailed production planning: translate IBP aggregate plans into schedules in S/4HANA.
• PP/DS optimization for finite capacity scheduling and sequencing.
• Exception management of planning issues, shortages, and capacity conflicts.
• Operational alignment with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, and Production Coordinators.
• Schedule optimization balancing service, inventory, and efficiency.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Network Planners and Raw Materials Planners.
• System Super User & Technical Expert (30%).
• Training, mentoring, and continuous improvement of planning processes.
• S&OP support and change management for new systems.
