Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Data Conversion Senior Consultant to support data migration for SAP IS-U implementations. You will analyze legacy data, define conversion requirements, and manage data mapping, mock conversions, and post-load validation.

The role involves travel to meet client needs and coordinating with business and technical teams. You will leverage SAP IS-U Migration Workbench/EMIGALL and other tools to ensure accurate data transformation, reconciliation, and sign-off across multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Typically 3–4 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, with at least 3 years of hands-on data conversion or migration.
• Hands-on experience delivering functional requirements, solution design, testing, and production support in a utility environment.
• Experience with source-to-target mapping, data profiling, transformation rules, and validation rules.
• Experience supporting conversion of master and transactional SAP IS-U data (business partners, contract accounts, premises, devices, meter readings, FI-CA balances).
• Willingness to travel 40–60%.

Responsibilities

• Analyze legacy data structures, source extracts, and target SAP IS-U requirements for data objects.
• Define and maintain source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, and validation rules.
• Support conversion of utility data including various master & transactional data sets.
• Perform data profiling, mock conversions, data loads, validation, and reconciliation.
• Coordinate with ETL and technical teams on staging and load activities.
• Analyze load errors and drive defect resolution.
• Prepare validation documentation and sign-off evidence.
• Support multiple conversion cycles and cutover activities.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to resolve data conversion issues.
