Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Data Conversion Senior Consultant to support data migration activities for SAP IS-U implementations. You will analyze legacy data, define conversion requirements, and lead data migration from source systems into SAP IS-U, owning data objects from analysis to post-load validation.

Travel to meet client needs is expected. You will collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure data is transformed, loaded, and reconciled throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Typically 3–4 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, including hands-on data conversion.
• Experience delivering functional requirements, design, testing, and production support in utilities.
• Experience with source-to-target mapping, data profiling, transformation rules, validation, mock loads, reconciliation, and data defect resolution.

Responsibilities

• Analyze legacy data, define conversion requirements and mappings.
• Coordinate staging and ETL activities with technical data teams.
• Support data loads, validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders across IS-U domains (Customer Service, Device Management, Billing).
• Prepare conversion documentation, test scenarios, and defect reports.
• Support cutover rehearsals, production loads, and post-go-live stabilization.
