Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Data Conversion Senior Consultant to support data migration activities for SAP IS-U implementations. You will own data objects from source analysis through mock conversions, cutover, and post-load validation, working with stakeholders across the project lifecycle.

You will apply functional knowledge of SAP IS-U and utility industry experience to ensure accurate transformation, migration, and reconciliation of data, with regular travel to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–4 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience.
• Hands‑on SAP IS‑U data conversion or migration experience.
• Experience with source‑to‑target mapping, data profiling, validation, reconciliation.
• Willingness to travel 40–60%.

Responsibilities

• Analyze legacy data structures and target IS‑U requirements for master and transactional data.
• Define source‑to‑target mappings, transformation rules, and load dependencies.
• Support conversion of utility data such as business partners, contracts and meter data.
• Perform data profiling, mock conversions, data loads, validation, and reconciliation.
• Coordinate ETL and migration activities with technical data teams.
• Develop object counts, control totals, and evidence for validation sign‑off.
• Support cutover rehearsals, production loads, and post‑go‑live stabilization.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders and project leadership to resolve issues.
