Job summary

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Senior Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to drive business consulting by translating the customer’s vision into solutions.

The role covers end-to-end solution design across on-premise, cloud and hybrid environments, with up to 30% travel. You’ll lead workshops, mentor consultants, and contribute to service delivery in alignment with SAP’s best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field with six (6) years of post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• Travel: Position does require up to 30% domestic and international travel to various unanticipated customer sites and SAP offices to provide customer services.

Responsibilities

• Map business processes to solution requirements.
• Support the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise.
• Drive change management to achieve business transformation objectives.
• Support end-to-end solution design and configuration across on-premise, cloud and hybrid environments.
• Participate in transition planning of customer solution landscapes.
• Drive deployment of best practice business processes for specific LoBs or industries.
• Support pre-sales activities.
• Perform solution reviews and feasibility studies.
• Support escalated projects.
• Occasionally take over responsibility as a (sub-)project lead or team lead for service delivery.
• Support line manager(s) in people development tasks.
• Deliver customer workshops and trainings.
• Support in partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success.
• Introduce SAP and industry leading practices based on pre-existing templates, standard content and experience.
• Create project documentation and documentation of delivered services.
• Support the evolution of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas.
• Owner of a service and/or supports updates to the portfolio.
• Support in solution testing and issue resolution.
• Mentor business process consultants.
